My rabbits just snuggle together in their litter box. We put it in their cage bcause we thought we wouldn't have to change the pan as much, but we can't figure out how to make them use it. Also the cat litter we were using gets in their lil' eyes and they fling it all over the room. We just use hay now, since they're not going in the box.

Although technically, I don't own a Rabbit at the moment, but I do work with them at the shelter.
One thing you may want to look at is the length of time that you're leaving them out ,how much room they have to roam around, and if you're taking them out on a daily basis.
When you bring in new Rabbits, some times it's best to start small, like letting them out,but close enough to their cage and litter box.
A friend told me that when she introduced her Rabbit, the same thing was happening to her. Her solution was that the room the Rabbit was running in was a bigger space,so she brought in a couple extra litter boxes and spread them out about the room, accordingly.Once she did that, the Bunny did start using them during his "Romps" around the room.As he got comfortable, she then started taking the extra litter boxes away.Hang in there,it just takes a bit of time, and you're Rabbit getting comfortable and familiar with the set-up.Good luck!
