Pugs are just very clingy. My oldest Jasper will mope around following me from room to room. He looks as if I have beaten him but he is just pouting because he wants my attention. All I have to do is turn and look at him like I an going to get him (wrestle with him) and he goes nuts. He starts running around in circles as fast as he can go and then he is fine for a while. Sometimes I just talk to him while I am doing other things at that makes a big difference. I will tell him to go get his toys and that is what he does. Our other pug, Ebony, isn't quite as clingy. She is content to do her own thing, but in the same room. She doesn't pout quite as much. Good luck with your pug. They are the greatest and so loving.

i agree they do love attention but i have two baby boys i cant always give him my attention.sometimes he even tries to play with the boys just to get attention.but it does not bother me cause he is very gentile.the only time i can give him all the attention is when the boys are sleeping and when my mom has them.some times i get a chance whan the boys are playing with there toys.but still why do they cry so much????
