Food question

November 15, 2008 | By Anonymous | 4 comments

Would like to know what type of food to feed my 2 Pom's. I've had them on Wellness, Eagle Pack, and now I am trying Nutro Lamb & Rice, which isn't going over so well. They get long teeth for their food, so I buy the small bag of dry, small bites, and change them monthly. Appreciate if anyone can give me any tips. They both are a year old and are brothers. Thanks.

Sounds like we have a few good answers already. I work in a petstore so I meet a lot of picky dog owners (owners with picky dogs, that is). Lukily my Pomeranian isn't that picky. I feed him Wellness Small Breed formula, but he also loved the Natural Balance samples I gave him. Natural Balance is a very healthy natural food with no by-products (avoid these like the plague) and multiple sources of protien. They specialize in dogs with food alergies, so if you ever have food alergy problems, use it. Nutro also makes great food, and some of it is somewhat cheap. I have been told that Solid Gold is great natural food as well. Do try premium dog foods like these, and you wont have to worry about extra fillers that make your dog eat and potty more. I hope you find this information useful, whoever reads this.

Sammy likes the packets of Cesar, he has about one every other day. It isn't he most nutritious so I also feed him Natural Balance, the canned Venison and Sweet Potato and also the Liver and the dry Venison. All three of my dogs love Natural Balance.
