Aging Poms

I work with a lady who had a pomeranian that just died from heart failure. Her name was Osa and she was a sweet little dog who was special to all of us here in the office. She spent a lot of time up here and we miss her a lot. I watched my co-worker go though a lot of pain and heartache when she lost her baby, and I hope to God that never happens to my pom. I don't know what I'd do. Anyways, I understand what it's like to love your dog like it was your child and how hard it must be for you...if you need to talk to someone, I'm here.

Hi Shannon! I too have an older pom. He was a rescued dog and when I got him he had most of his teeth removed! I worry that soon he won't be able to eat his food and will get sick and leave me! He only has two molars left on the left side, no teeth on the right except his two canines.
What are the symptoms of your dog's heart problems?
