Pit bull ignorance on Chico Ca. Craigslist

I read an ad on the Chico Ca. Craigslist today for a lady trying to find homes for Great danes. A fine a noble endeavor. But in her ad she said she would not place any danes mixed with Pitbulls. I sent her an email and asked her what she had against pitbulls, and that she should get informed about them befroe she condemned them. She wrote me back saying she has worked in a vets office for 15 years and had to put down tons of dogs and stitch others up because of pitbulls. She went on to say that it doesnt matter how well they are socialized or if they have been to obedience school, they are all agressive and dangerous. When she next mentioned dogs with locking jaws I knew she didn't have a clue what she was talking about. Anyone who knows anything about pits know that that is a myth. I sent her another email telling her facts about pitbulls and I told her where she could find those facts. I also told her to please not post anymore misleading posts about pitbulls when she is trying to place great danes. I told her I would flag her posts if she did. She wrote me back and told me to go ahead and flag her posts as there were more people out there who hated pitbulls then liked them and she would post what she wanted and to leave her alone. Please help me keep her misleading posts of Craigslist. If she wants to place great danes in homes,Great! But leave out the lies about pitbulls. If you see a Post That says" Do you want a Great Dane?" Please check it for slander against our noble Pitbulls and flag it. I can't do it alone. It takes more than one flag. Thank you
