This is who HSUS has as their dog fighting expert.
John Goodwin, HSUS’s animal fighting “expert”, has no experience with dogs. He is an arsonist with a long arrest record, a former Animal Liberation Front member/spokesman with a history of promoting arson to accomplish animal liberation. Everyone involved should hang their heads in shame
HSUS IS A MONEY HUNGRY, LOBBYING BS ORGANIZATION WORKING UNDER THE GUISE OF HELPING. REMEMBER THEY WANTED ALL THE VICK DOGS DEAD AS WELL. I SUPPOSE THIS IS A SMALL CONSOLATION PRIZE FOR THEM, AT LEAST THEY WERE ABLE TO HAVE THE NC DOGS KILLED. RATHER THAN CONCENTRATING WITH THEIR HUGE LOBBYING SKILLS AND POWER; POWER WHICH THEY ACQUIRED THROUGH DONATIONS AND SUPPORT FROM THE PUBLIC. POWER WHICH IS CLEARLY BEING MISUSED NOW, TO HAVE STATES EMBRACE STRICTER LAWS AND TO GIVE MANDATORY SENTENCING OF SERIOUS JAIL TIME TO THE FELONS ; THEY FEEL IT IS THEIR DUTY TO CONDEMN NEARLY 150 DOGS TO DEATH. THIS IS BEYOND INSANE.
WE ARE NOT IN THE DARK AGES HERE OR ARE WE!

THE 18 PUPS BORN AT THE POUND WERE NOT INVOLVED IN A DOG FIGHTING OPERATION. How can officials legally kill these pups? Can a suit be brought for violation of their own laws?You may want to add that the HSUS should be the one to sue over this.
