I wanted to let everyone know that there is another Pit Friendly shelter on the East Coast: Liberty Humane Society. As with most hard working shelters, we have programs for low cost spay neuter, a TNR program, a very didicated volunteer base. In addition, as part of our BAD Dog program (B ullies A re D eserving Dogs), we have a training program that, with the help of some local professional trainers, is strictly maintained by volunteers. For more information go to baddogs.libertyhumane.org/, or libertyhumane.org/ or feel free to contact me.
Thanks for reading!!

Liberty Humane Society in Jersey City, New Jersey, is often the last resource available for many pit bull and pit bull mixes.
Many shelters in our area do not accept pit bulls. Not only do we accept them, we love and care for them like any other dog and inves alot of time and energy into their training and socialization so that they can be adopted by a loving family.
Please help us to continue our work on behalf of this incredible breed. Please vote for us on Zootoo. Again, we are Liberty Humane Society in Jersey City. Please note that there is a Liberty Humane Shelter in Georgia also in the Top 10 but the two shelters are not affiliated.
