Over weight guinnea pig what to do??

Hi I got a GP in July and she was already over weight by some people that owned her before. She was spoiled and got many unnecessary treats from them. I have since taken those awaw, got her a wheel (she never uses) and let her out of her cage a few hours a night. She has not lost anything! What else can I do??

Agree with above- no wheel- ever- guinea pigs can hurt themselves on wheels & do not use them-
can't improve on Jennicat's answer- well done :)

She is so pretty! My guy only eats fruit as treats (his choice), but he also loves hay cubes. These are timathy hay pressed into a hard cube. You can get them at PetSmart or Target. He loves those, and they are good for them too. Good luck, and enjoy your new friend!
