Do you think we can train it out? Or does she not really have a problem, she could just not know her name or the command 'drop'.
Anyways, any suggestions would be appreciated.

I've had Pyrs my whole life - they do make up their own mind because they is what they have to do a LGD HOWEVER they are definitely trainable. Mine bark but are quiet after I tap on the window because otherwise they have to come inside. They are easily motivated by food so the rest of the training is a matter of being in charge (the pack leader) and repetition. Don't expect many tricks though.

Lexi was nearly an obedience school failure. She does things when she wants to, not so much when she's asked to. But things have gotten better with consistent NILIF training and time. She's just turned two and the stubbornness is still there, but she's more obedient. She'll even stay until released for her food. But her recall is still awful.
