Sorry to hear that! I have a male that had a knee injury and the vet wanted to do surgery but he wasn't a year old. We opted to wait until after he finished growing and we are going to redo his xrays now that he is 2 but he bounces around like nothing was ever wrong with him. Are they sure it isn't OCD? That is the right age for it. I would do anti-inflammatories and wait until the pup is older and full grown before letting them do surgery unless it is crippling already. Also talk with the person you got the dog from about history of other pups in the litter and parents. Good luck!

I'm so sorry. Are they talking about surgery soon or when she is older? Your pup is young and i'm sure that they will be able to help. Autumn blew her knee out at 2 years and she is now 12 with no problems. My thoughts are with you.
