Personally I'm not a Dobbie fan. . . But they are good dogs. ALL DOGS are good until made bad . It's sad that this kind of stereotype continues. I've got a neighbor with two Dobbies < a red and a black and tan . Both sweet dogs. We have an AKC breeder here and she's had three I know of earn thier AKC Canine Good Citizen certificates . I remember when I first got Quannah, people told me what a mistake I was making because he was an Akita mix ( Akita / Sibe ) . . . He was the most laid back dog I've ever seen ! Dogs become what we raise them to be , irregardless of breed . Being big dogs I would strongly advise obedience training. Starting with puppy classes .
