My 19 yr. old kitty

It's a hard thing to find yourself on the path to loosing a pet that you have lived with and loved so much. In your heart, you want them to always be there for you just as you have always been there together. Unfortunately, their little bodies can't hang in with us as long as we'd like. Watching the decline is hard on us. We really want to make everything better like we always have been able to. Love her and make her as comfortable as you can and she'll let you know when she's ready to go. Of course, our precious girl decided it was time but kept fighting like she had all her life even up to last few seconds. Everything was going bad inside her and there was nothing more we could do to make her well enough to keep her going. We treasure her memory even after 4 years. We say hi and that we love her when we walk past where she rests. It's awesome that you shared your feelings for your cat while she is still with you. Thanks for posting this.

That is so amazing. She certainly has to be like another family member, and it has to be hard thinking about losing her. I hope she hangs around for awhile longer.
