Tear stains

Ducati is 3 1/2 months old and has started to get tear stains. I called Lisa (my breeder & now friend)today and asked her what she does. She uses a product called Angel Eyes it is a powder that you spinkle on their food. She says that it works really well. She gets it online and is going to send me the link. I will forward it as soon as I get it. I haven't tried it yet since I just heard about it today. But I believe in what she has to say she is a wealth of information. We have actually become very good friends in the last 5 1/2 months.

Hi Sandi, this solution might be a little high maintenance, but it works. Apparently the tear stains are caused by some kind of mineral that dogs get from their water. If you switch them over to distilled water the tear stains should go away and should keep them from coming back. Good Luck!
