those of you on the main site are probably familiar with my little beasty boy doc. doc thinks because he can talk he can eat fingers. it is a good thing i love him. he is very smart and really is a little brat. my piper is the exact opposite sweet gentile. do you have a little or big brat? both of their pictures are posted. tell me about your brats

For birds their cage is their domain. When you stick your hand in, it may seem like you are doing an agressive act so she protects herself the best she can. As I am walking up to my birds, if they are in the cage and I want to get them out, I walk up slowing saying, step up, step up. They know what that means so they come to the door. I open the door and slowing put up my finger saying step up. They know my intention. birds startle easy, so move slow, and talk sweetly.

i know a lot of people have that problem but have never found the glove a good thing. just suck it up and take the bite and maybe she will give up. after all it is her house. how about leaving the door open to let her come out herself
