Kind of Gross Question

One of my dogs may have vomitted fecal matter. I thought it was diarrhea, it was orangy brown, mushy, and smelled well like poop. Then my dad said she had vomitted earlier and that it looked the same. Does anyone know about this happening or if it's life threatening? Shes been eating, drinking, playing, and using the bathroom outside. Shes almost 40lbs and has always had a sensative stomach. I really don't have money to bring her to the vet, I was waiting on my school refund to get their round of shots for the winter. I'm going to monitor her, and see how she is in the morning and if it happens again, if it does she's going to the vet tomorrow. Any ideas will help. Thanks
