Let's Only Adopt One-Right?

Anbody ever gone to a shelter with the intention of only adopting one more cat, but actually walking out with more than one? Then saying "Three cats are more that enough for a two bedroom apartment." Six months later "But honey, he's soooo tiny and if nobody takes him, he goes back to the farm!" (my husband's plea) 4 cats in a two bedroom apartment. 2 laps. Chaos.
