We live in Ohio and Mr. Zero my American Eskimo is not looking forward to summer. He loves the winter months. How does your Eski handle the weather, N. E. S. or W. will a weather change effect your Eski?

I use a hand held vacume on my American Eskimo to get some of the loose fur captured. I keep the vac near by all the time. At first my dog was not sure about it, now he loves it.

My American Eskimo is not at all a lap dog, so I got Rat Terrier for that lol. My Eskimo sits beside me & will stay for only a short time then to the cool floor. Does anyone have an Eskimo thats likes to sit on your lap?

Just curious on grooming. We have had Minka for many years and never had her coat shaved until this fall when it became really matted. The groomer said many people have their eskimo trimmed in the spring. I thought you needed to keep the coat long… more ›

One of the vet techs where we go made the comment that our Sammy is one of the nice ones...we don't know of anyone having a foul tempered one...what are they generally like?
