Daisy as a little puppers

Our animals are definately prominent members of our family. We have a doggy door so they can go in and out as they please. They sleep on our beds at night and on the furniture as they please. Of course this makes for some fitful nights of sleep when (the pit) decides that he wants to sleep between you and your husband but other than that it's fine! We love snuggling, playing with, and just flat out enjoying our animals. I have had dogs since I was a child. I would know of life no other way than to have a houseful of them. If I am totally stressed out, all I have to do is go snuggle with one of the dogs for a few minutes and I swear it calms me! I'm sure many of you know what I mean. You shouldn't have animals if you aren't willing to make them "family members". They are not to be considered "novelty items". mom of mariobro

Since i was young i have always been a fan of the bigger dogs like rots, and pitbulls! But now being a first time chihuahua owner i tell ya they can be tough in there own way. And they will always have a place in my heart!

I totally agree, if you don't wan to spoil them, don't get them. I think animals give love to those people they know will love them back! They should be treated like a member of the family, mine truely are like my kids. My 2 dogs sleep in my bed, if they let me in is another story. I usually have to move them over for a spot on the couch, but I wouldn't have it any other way, I Love them so much!!
