You can also use peppermint oil. It's a natural deterrent. Put a little bit of it on a rag and apply it where ever the mice might be entering the shed ( along the base boards). A little bit of it goes a long way! They don't like it at all, but your shed will smell great.

I use those too. Seems the little deer mice always get cought in the plastic traps. If it is a fieldmouse, you need to buy one of the wiretraps (haveaheart). I am not sure if the fielmice would even fit in the plastic one! Use a little peanutbutter on a half cracker for bait. Works every time!
When you have cought it and are ready to take it some other place, put a little cloth over the trap so the mouse doesn't get a heartattack from being handled.
