getting my dog to take his heartworm medicine seems impossible! i will wrap some cheese around it and he isnt fooled. he will eat the cheese around it and spit the pill out. after about the millionth try, he will forget and eat it. how do you get your pet to take his medicine?

Take some regular cream cheese and one tablespoon of peanutbutter. Mix it really well. Keep in fridge for a while. It will coat the pill perfectly, not slide off and not stick to your finger. You may have to break the pill in half or even quaters, so he doesn't have to chew it. My 10 can't resist this stuff - works every time!
