I got the smallest kind they make for my little 2 1/2 gallon fish tank. It worked immediately and I tested it with my cooking thermometer so it appears to be accurate.

I just got the Digital Horizontal Aquarium Thermometer. I think it will look better across the bottom of the tank than up one of the sides. The numbers are a little larger than my first vertical digital thermometer. It comes in an even larger number version than the one I picked.
