This was the first of James Herriot's books that I read. It is filled with wonderful stories of the animals he meets as a vet. He is a great writer and you will be hooked on these stories in no time. If you haven't read any of his books yet, I would suggest this one. This is one of the best ones, if there can be a "best" one as they are all great.
