Pros: Excellent nutrition for plecos and other fish like it too.
Cons: Make sure it doesn't get trapped under something in the tank because it can get mushy & gross.
My pleco and my cory catfish both love it! I keep my fishtank pretty clean and I had had 2 pleco's die over a period of a year. I read up on them and realized I was probably starving them because they grow pretty quick and need extra nourishment, especially once they get larger. My current pleco is big and thriving and I have had him for over 8 months now. I put 1 in each night before I turn off the light and he goes right after it.
