How do I find a service? back to top
From the Zootoo homepage click on the Pet Services tab in the menu bar. You can search for a service in 3 steps. First, select the type of service. Second, select how you want to sort your search (rating, distance, most viewed, most recommended, name). Third, enter your zip code. Then click submit. Based on your criteria, you will find a listing of the service you are searching.
How do I find a product? back to top
rom the Zootoo homepage click on the Pet Products tab in the menu bar. You will have several search options under Find Products. Use this to refine your search then click Go. You may also search for products using the search bar. Simply type in the product name you are searching.
How do I communicate with other people on the site? back to top
Once you become a registered member of Zootoo, you can communicate with other members. Some ways you can communicate is by adding friends, private messaging,
participating in news discussions, commenting on reviews, answering questions and journal reading.
How do I meet other pet lovers on the site? back to top
To meet other pet lovers, you first need to sign in to your account. Select the Pets & People link at the top tool bar. From there you can select the People Matching button and find local pet lovers that have your same interest.

To write a review on a pet service, you first need to sign in to your account. When you visit a page about a pet service that you have personally used, you can select Write a Review and follow the instructions to post your review. It is important to be honest and detailed in your review, as those that provide this type of information would be of most help to other Zootoo members.

To find friends select the Pets and People tab. Select your search: Browse People, People Matching, or Pet Browser. Once you select your search, you’ll be able to browse the Zootoo community.
How can I add Events? back to top
To add a new event, sign in to your account, go to the menu bar and select Events and click the Add Event, which is on the right hand side and follow the instructions to add detail information about your event.
Where can I post questions and find answers? back to top
Go to the Homepage or My Zootoo and click on Answers. From there you can ask a question. Your questions will remain up for two weeks. After two weeks, we'll ask you to pick the one that best answers your question, helping others who may have similar questions in future.
You may also post answers to questions or search other people’s questions through the Categories drop down menu.

The search is on for America’s Cutest Pet. Pet Wars is the first cuteness contest for ALL pets in America. Vote for the cutest pet by clicking on the image or the this pet is cuter button. You can vote on all the pets or choose a type of pet by the labels above the pictures.
Why should I rate and review products? back to top
Rating and reviewing products is a way of sharing your knowledge and experience with other pet owners. This way, we can keep each other from making the same mistake with a service or product. On the other hand, if you highly recommend a product or service, then Zootoo is where you can tell everyone about it.
How do I Volunteer? back to top
Once you are a member, click on the Volunteer link at the top of the page, or Click here to go to the Volunteer section. Once there, you begin to identify your skills. If your shelter has identified what they need, Zootoo will bring both of you together.
Where should I go to report inappropriate behavior? back to top
At Zootoo, we respect all of our users and the community they are creating. However, if you feel that certain content is inappropriate, you may flag a review, comment, or picture/video review. Provide a reason for the flag in the comment section. Zootoo Quality Assurance will them investigate the content, and if necessary, remove it.
While we appreciate good faith reports, if it seems that a member flags or reports others as a way to gain an advantage of the system, then that member will lose credibility over time.
Is Zootoo in my hometown? back to top
Yes. Zootoo lets you search for services in your local area. Go to the Pet Services page to start searching for local services. You can also find other pet owners in your area by visiting the Pet People section of the site.
How do I confirm my registration? back to top
After you fill out our registration form and click on submit, our system will automatically send you an email. Log in to the e-mail account you used to sign up and open the e-mail that Zootoo sent you (be sure to check your bulk or spam folder). Just follow the simple instructions in the email to complete your membership.
How do I write a great review? back to top
Good reviews tend to be short and to the point, and honest. Try to focus on the qualities of the product or service you respond most strongly to. Good reviews have titles that are descriptive of the reviews perspective, such as "An affordable, if not very fun, dog toy." Writing only "great product," or "nice place" however, does not help others make an educated decision on that product or service.

To edit your personal information on zootoo.com you must be logged in and click on the My Profile tab in the navigation. From your My Profile page you can edit the information that makes up your profile.

Why can't I add a pet when registering for zootoo.com? back to top
Due to a known bug, users accessing zootoo.com with the Safari browser version 2.x will be unable to add pets from the Register page. While we work to fix this problem, the temporary solution is to register without adding a pet, and then add them from the 'My Profile' screen.

On Zooo you can add photos of your pets and you can add photo reviews of services and products showing your pet enjoying the product or service. To add a photo of your pet, go to your Zoo to add a photo review, go to your Zoo

When you register and validate your account with Zootoo, each pet you add
to My Zoo will be automatically entered into Pet Wars.
Are samples really FREE? back to top
Yes. There are no costs associated for you to request and receive a sample.
How long will it take to get my sample? back to top
Normally, it will take 6 - 8 weeks to receive your sample.
Am I obligated to review a sample once I receive it? back to top
There is no obligation to review a sample. However, if you would like to receive another sample, you must review the previous sample you requests from zootoo.
Is there a limit on how many pictures and/or videos I can upload? back to top
As you click around zootoo.com you may see links to upload images to your profile, of pets, of products and services you have used, among others. When you select an upload link, a box will open up on top of your Web browser that will allow you to select a file from your computer and add it to zootoo.com. You are allowed to upload as many pictures of your pets as you like. You are allowed to upload one picture per product. You are allowed no more than 10 photos for shelters.

You are responsible for fulfillment. We will send you the emails on a weekly basis with the names of people who have requested samples. We also have a fulfillment that you can contact to handle your fulfillment.

Zootoo has a video studio that allows manufacturers to come and shoot a video review of their product or service. The video review will be featured on the product pages of video review.

If you follow the steps on finding a product and still cannot locate your product, at the end of the search you will have an option to Add a product. Click and add!

From the homepage there is a Journal tab, Click on that button and it will bring you to Zootoo Journals.

On the Zootoo Journal page there is a box labeled View Latest Entries. There you can search by theme, most popular, or most active writers.

To being writing your own journal, register and log in. Then, click on the My Zootoo tab on the homepage. There is a box labeled Things you can do now. Find Journal Entries and click on the button labeled Write Journal.
Journal entries can only be edited, not deleted.

Zootoo Journals are personal accounts of experiences with pets, pet products, or anything relating to pets. You can read or write a journal just by clicking on it.

When you find a friend you’d like to add, click Add to Friends. We will send them an invitation to accept your friend request. After the invitation is accepted, they will automatically be added to your friends page on My Zootoo.

To opt in and out of notifications, click on the My ZooToo tab on the homepage. Then click on the Account & Privacy button. Click on the Notifications tab. Click on the type of emails (notifications) you’d like to receive from us. If you wish to not receive emails from us, be sure you select the off button for each type of notification.
