I mix this in with the homemade biscuits I bake for my dog because he has shown signs of a Zinc deficiency. This is absorbed better than other zinc supplements because it is organic. My dog's nails, food pads, and hair are stronger. His skin is not as itchy and hot spots have been reduced. He is allergic to everything but not this and it has actually relieved many of his allergy symptoms.
