Pros: This vitamin helps immune systems and bone structure.
Cons: Too much of it at a time can cause soft stool.
I give at least 1000 mg of Vitamin C to each of my dogs daily. I believe it has a positive effective on immune systems and there is anecdotal evidence for Vitamin C helping bone and joint structure in large dogs.
