Works great for plucking hairs
Pros: dries up hair to make it easier to pluck, seems less painful for dogs
Cons: messy powder

Shake a little powder into the ear, mush it around, and voila! You can pluck out ear hair like a pro. The dog might still yip, but I think it doesn't hurt as much when the powder is in there. Plus, it helps keep ears dry and reduce odor.
