Pros: Effective for open fields or yards in all weather.
Cons: Battery life was a little too short.

This training aid works very well to get and keep my dogs attention. With 10 power settings, I have never needed higher than a 4, even with heavy distractions. I tried it on myself up to 3 and that was plenty. We use the long prongs and still need to cut away quite a bit of neck fur (on the dog, not me). Dog knows when the collar is on, and conversely when it isn't.
