Halti Head Halters Really Help
Review Details
I like the Halti head harnesses because they really do help control a boisterous dog. It's true that if you control the head, the rest of the body follows. The head halters are wonderful for controlling boisterous dogs and dogs that pull. The halters, which even now are still sometimes mistaken for muzzles, do NOT muzzle the dog; rather they allow the dog to pant, to eat and to drink.
The Halti is easy to put onto the dog, and releases easily, as well. It has a safety strap that attaches to the halter, as well as to the dog's collar. In the event your dog slips out of the Halti, you will still have control of the dog through his collar.
It's always best to be able to control a dog through training, rather than physical means. By that, I mean that if you have a dog that pulls on leash or tends to be boisterous, it's best to train the dog to walk properly on leash. In the meantime, however, use of a Halti head halter can help control your dog and aid in training.
