One of the dogs I rescued a few years ago (a purebred doberman pinscher) had a lot of pent-up energy from spending years in a cage. I hated taking her for walks because she would drag me down the street. Then came the Halti-collar. It was like flipping a switch. Without missing a beat she became the greatest walking buddy! I highly recommend this product to anyone who dreads taking their dog for a walk, because it will make such a difference!

I want to clarify that I used the Halti-collar in conjunction with a training program. It was not a "fix all" by any means. Mylei was incredibly smart and never once pulled on the leash when wearing the Halti-collar.

I have been told that this collar can cause neck problems when dogs pull or jerk on the leash. I have not had this problem with any of the dogs I have used it with, but again I must repeat, I used the Halti-collar on dogs that were also being trained, socialized and worked with. It is not an instant-fix, and should be used in conjunction with proper training.
