Review Details

My dobierman pinschers can tear pretty much any toy to shreads in under 2 minutes. I constantly buy little fuzzy cheap toys and then pick up fluff about 10 minutes later to throw out. For Christmas my sister bought them Tuffies, they can be found at www.mydogtoy.com It is now January 8th, and they are still intact! Only two little punctures in two toys, and the dogs love to play with them. They are a little bit fuzzy, which they love, but firm enough for them to grab onto and drag around and chew on. You can pick the level of toughness of toy for the dog on a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the toughest. I thought my dogs would have to go with the 10, but it turns out that the 7 is enough to keep them busy. They are just a little more pricey than other toys, but since I only have to buy them each one instead of buying them a ton of little ones, it ends up that I'm actually spending less. Dont' let the price tag scare you - it works out in the end. What a great toy, I am a loyal customer from now on!!

I have a lab and a blue tick heeler who destroy every toy they get , I certainly would consider buying one of these to see if my beta testers can keep it longer than a few weeks...

I agree...I have the Pteradactyl tuffies for my dog for 3 months now and he hasn't even chewed anything on it. I liked it so much I got one for my friends dog who is a chewer and same thing there. The stitching is throughout the whole toy so even if they start to tear, it will stop. Spendy and hard to find, but worth it.
