I decided to invest in two kongs for my dogs about a year ago, I thought they would keep them busy outside. The first thing I noticed was how expensive the little treats you're suppose to buy to put in the kong. Next, I noticed my dogs really didn't like these treats. Several people suggested I try putting peanut butter in or maybe something frozen. I tried both suggestions. Thought my girls liked these treats better, the whole thing got to be extremely messy and not really worth the hassle. My girls don't really express too much interest in them anymore. They are insanely difficult to clean too. Becareful if you soak them, this red slimy filmy stuff comes off of it. So the long and the short is I don't hate these kongs but I don't think they're worth what you pay for them.

I bought the kong for our dog for his birthday. I was so excited to give it to him. I put the peanut butter in it and threw it, he sniffed it for a minute and walked away. I tried several times throughout the day to get him interested in it but not happening. I think the toy itself seems very sturdy. Maybe eventually he'll play with it, it is a little on the expensive side.
