The first time I saw this toy I bought it for my PitBull. I know they aren't good at retrieving things, but let me tell you this toy tought him how to play fetch! It's been 2 years now and he still has it. It is a little beat up, but not compared to some other toys. He plays with it all the time! He did try to bite off the little insects that are around the stick, but he leaves them alone now!
