Wish it were lighter

My Mr Man goes to visit his 'grandparents' a couple of times each year. They live in an area where fences are not permitted so he enjoys many walks. They have an upper deck area where we typically eat out and otherwise enjoy the weather. I bought something called the doganchor to use as a weight and needed a tie out to secure to it. I ordered one of these coils initially as I liked the idea of it not being easily tangled and easy to see as to avoid tripping over it. For him, as he is not overly use to this kind of restraint, it was too heavy and he didn't like the resistance he felt as he moved to 'uncoil' it. He's about 15 lbs. I can see how my other pups would be ok with it but not with the intended user. If they could make something lighter and less resistance to pull against it I would love this for him. I like the styling and for me. This will work for my other larger pups if they do ever need it.
