My GSD was put on Cosequin DS at the age 0f 12 years. he had developed some arthritic pain and neurological problems in his hips and spine. He would do well during the day once he got moving but getting going was a problem. We started the DS and within a 2 week period we saw a great chage in him - obviously much more comfortable on rising, moving about easier. I felt this was a great alternative to some of the drugs that we could have used. Very pleased with this product
