Tylan aks tylosin tartrate

Many many years ago I adopted a collie puppy who had chronic diarrhea. We did every test in the book. No parasites etc. Then my vet put the now older puppy on Tylan which is also used in chickens but also in kennels. His diarrhea stopped on a dime. Every so often he would break down again and we would test and find nothing. After awhile when he broke down I put him on Tylan. He lived to be 14 years old. So this is an interesting remedy for chronic diarrhea. When my vet gives talks he still talks about Danny the collie with diarrhea and Tylan.
