Powder works great like the gel to stop bleeding of the nails (quick) and dulls the pain. Works well. Inexpensive because if you are lucky and careful a jar will last you forever unless you work in a shelter/store where you are in charge of cutting everyone's nails or as a groomer where I am sure they go through a decent amount of this.
