This was great when my pups were small I had it in the kitchen with their crate inside ,it kept them in a safely confined area. I didn't have to worry about them having accidents, getting to wires or me stepping on them as I worked. We also used it outside in summer as my yard is big and I worried less. Mine is no 5 years old has been loaned out and is still going strong
