My family bought this kennel when our dog slipped a disc in his lower back. He loves to run around the yard and begs to stay outside as much as possible, but because of his back we couldn't risk him injuring himself further. This was great because we could still allow him to go out, but we knew he couldn't run around too much. We even used it inside to prevent him from moving too much from room to room.
