Actually as a certified veterinary technician I have assisted in treating many geriatric pets and have owned quite a few myself. Having incontinance issues in old age can be treated with medications and could possibly be a medical problem that pet owners should talk to their veterinarians about. All too often people think their pets are "just getting old" and it is normal. My only concern is for the senior pets that often do not get treated for their medical problems because the owner thinks it is a normal aging process.
Some have severe hip dysplaysia and back issues such as my dog. He has chiropractic treatments and it does help. Since he was only supposed to make it to five years and that was with surgery, I think he is doing really well at 13. So the wrap helps him make it through the night without an extensive accident. it doesn't happen all the time, but at least with this product, it is easier for me when it does.
