If so dont care what the dose is I could not us it on my animal. I would feel like I am killing the dog.

I use this for my boxer. As far as I know it is not the same stuff, but I will ask my vet. I do know that without her medicine her siezures would kill her. Its a fine line on what is the lesser of the two evils.
