Good pain relief for rabbits

Metacam aka Meloxicam is probably the most used pain killer for rabbits. It works pretty well although it is one of the lighter painkillers available. A few rabbits may get upset stomachs from this. It can usually be prevented by making sure the rabbit has food in it's stomach before giving the meds. Although even with that, it puts Fey into stasis for about 12 hours before it wears off.

Metacam is not always enough for spays and other more painful procedures/conditions.
