My dog Casey started using Humulin N insulin last week after being diagnosed diabetic. She has been on it exactly one week and I can already see how much better she is feeling. She is no longer peeing in the house, and is more spritely when we go for walks. The insulin needs to be injected twice a day, immediately after her meal. The needle is very fine so she doesn't really feel it.
