Heartgard heartworm preventative is tasty and easy to give.
Pros: Easy to administer and effective. Better than daily pills.
Cons: Requires a prescription.

My dogs love the taste of Heartgard preventative so i don't have to get my hand all spitty stuffing a pill down their throats. Sadie comes running when she hears me removing it from the packaging.
