The Oops Pad by Flexi-Mat is the best incontinence pad we have used, and we've tried a lot of different ones. This one beats out all the others for comfort and durability. We've been using ours for years and have washed and dried them at least a hundred times and they are still in great condition. The top fabric layer is soft and very comfortable and liquids pass right through to the absorbent core. It stands up to our dogs' scratching without any damage. The backing layer really contains messes. Nothing gets through there, but it's not plastic-y at all. It's not easy to find these. Jeffers has them though and they're worth every penny. If you have an incontinent pet, you'll love this product!
