Review Details
The way this works is that it dehydrates the fleas and they die, so no poison involved to worry about with your pets. It does work and I would still use it if I had a sudden flea problem. As another reviewer said - Frontline does the job now, but you never know when you'll get such a bad flea season that you need to bring out the artillary again.

My daughter was living in TX last year with her inside only kitty. She had a flea epidemic...sand fleas??...She cried at the thought of an exterminator and chemical pesticides in her little studio apartment. Her uncle recommended salt and we saw on line that it had helped others. Boric acid was recommended too or a combo of both. She used the salt (so cheap) and kitty had a capstar and then frontline and it was blessedly over. :)
