We use these neck bands at the SPCA to identify our dogs. We put their kennel number and name on the tag. You can use either a "sharpie" marker or a pen to write information on the tags (pencil doesn't work!). The only bad thing is when we have a litter of puppies, they tend to play and end up ripping eachother's neck bands off! They also make smaller ones for cats.
