I always update my tags on my dogs every 6 months. Not because I move, but they can get worn down as the dogs wear their collars 24/7.
I am usually at PetSmart every other week so sometimes during one of my many trips, I will get a new tag for the dogs. Plus there are times when they get in a special tag like when Spiderman came out and we got one of the dogs a Spiderman Tag.
PetSmart tags are a few pennies more than some of the other places. But I don't mind spending a few more pennies to know I have id tags on my dogs at a place I am in every other week.
