the best medicine is preventive medicine, and vaccines are at the core of this. However, I am not in support of non veterinary professionals giving them. Vax protocols are always changing, new strains emerge and better vaccines are being produced all the time. It is your vet's job to stay on top of this, so let him/her give them and worry about it,
