My previous review on this product just disappeared, so I'm doing another one! Heartgard is extremely important! Heartworms are fatal to dogs if untreated... the price of treated a heartworm positive dog can cost you thousands of dollars. Heartgard may cost you as low as $25 for a 6 month supply (this is for HG blue). Which is better for your dog and your wallet? Florida is notorious for having a mosquito problem... and that's how dogs get heartworms... one little mosquito bite could cost you your dog's life. Please have your dog(s) heartworm tested yearly and if they haven't been on heartworm preventative, get them tested immediately! It's a simple blood test and takes about 8-10 minutes to run. Use Heartgard! It's the best!
